In a 911 call about 7:10 p.m. Friday, Olvera reported that Harper was trying to choke him in their apartment in the 5600 block of Abrams Road, near East Northwest Highway in northeast Dallas. The dispatcher repeatedly told Olvera to separate himself from Harper before his phone went dead, the affidavit says.
