“It was an experience that I won’t ever forget,” the model and activist tells Vogue.
“Walking the #RunwayIcons show in Florence was an experience that I won’t ever forget,” Bergdorf tells. “From the location, to the line-up, to the clothes, to the soundtrack, everything was nothing less than spectacular.”For Bergdorf, the diversity of the cast – which included new-gen supers such as Paloma Elsesser and Precious Lee as well as drag queens Violet Chachki, Symone and Gottmik – was particularly important to her.
“Day one in Florence and it was straight to the fitting from the airport. This custom Mugler gown was the first and only dress I tried on. It fit like a glove. I felt powerful, sexy and couldn’t wait to wear it on the runway.”
