A mum was been left furious after learning that her son's nursery confiscated a chocolate cake from his lunchbox. The toddler was told he would get it back when it was time to go home.
The boy's mum, who asked to remain anonymous, says there is 'absolutely no need' to put children on a diet when they are 'just kids'. She said: "As long as you make sure they have a balanced diet and brush their teeth every morning and evening there is nothing to worry about. There's absolutely no need to put children on a silly diet when they are just kids."The mum feels strongly that what can and can't be eaten should be up to the children's parents.
