Kate Donohoe, 35, and seven-month-old Vincent were found in an upstairs bedroom by gardai in Dublin on Saturday afternoon.
A mum and baby were found dead in a suspected murder-suicide after a note was found with the bodies, authorities have said.
Irish police say they are treating this as a family tragedy, while post-mortems are due to be carried out to establish the cause of the pair's deaths. No one else was in the property at the time the bodies were found, according to the Mirror. "She often groomed dogs for us that were badly in need and helped us to find homes for dogs too. Our thoughts and prayers are with her family, her friends and those in the community affected by her passing."
