Ayesha Idrees has vowed to never return to the supermarket, in Oldham, unless the toys are moved
A 'disgusted' mum claims she had to shield her son's eyes during her weekly Tesco shop. Ayesha Idrees popped into Tesco Extra on Huddersfield Road, Oldham, last month, on September 20, when she spotted shelves full of adult toys in the baby and toddler aisle.
The 'protective' mum-of-two, who was pushing her one-year-old in a pram, claims the display made her very uncomfortable. Ayesha says she spoke to the manager to request the store change the display - but says the toys had not moved when she returned the following week on September 29.
"It makes me feel very uncomfortable. I'm very protective of my children and I do not want them to be exposed to such things so early in life. Naturally, children are curious and they absorb information from their surroundings. "It doesn't matter if the child understands or not. It made me a bit angry because an older child, who is also innocent, might understand what it is.
