With no movement in the Republican primary race and former President Donald Trump continuing to dominate the polls, conservative firebrand Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene said today that the race is already over.
Greene has been one of Trump’s top supporters, often appearing as a warm-up act at rallies. There has been talk that the former president is considering her as his running mate. But that also requires holding the House and gaining control of the Senate. “To do that, we must motivate the Republican base,” she said. “Do you want to stop the left’s abuse of power? Vote!” she added.
On the call she teased other topics in the book, including her poor view of liberal Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez “I've talked with her multiple times. I've asked her to debate me, she's afraid of me, is clearly, clearly not competent or capable and debating me with her with her policies and views on climate change and the Green New Deal, which I think is pretty pathetic as members of Congress are supposed to debate ideas,” said Greene.
