MSNBC host Joy Reid on Sunday ridiculed Donald Trump over Mar-a-Lago's long history of infestations after the president called Democratic congressman Elijah Cummings' Baltimore district a"rat and rodent infested mess" this weekend.
Reid discussed Trump's attacks against Cummings, which House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has labeled"racist," with an MSNBC panel during a segment on Sunday's"I'm sorry. When we talk about infestations," a panel guest said, referencing Trump's criticisms of Baltimore,"I think it's silly because over the last four years, Mar-a-Lago has had maybe four or five violations.""Rust, mold, parasites.
"There is nothing racist in stating plainly what most people already know, that Elijah Cummings has done a terrible job for the people of his district, and of Baltimore itself. Dems always play the race card when they are unable to win with facts. Shame!," Trump wrote in a series of tweets on Sunday afternoon.
