The top girls' baby name of 2022 has already been replaced
We're already more than halfway through the year and 2023's baby name trends have taken shape with surprising results.
Sophia is sitting in second whilst Olivia, a name that has been popular for years, is in third, followed by Amelia and Freya for the top five, as reported by The Mirror. Top baby name trends Some shifts in baby name trends could be caused by celebrity controversies as the names Holly and Phil took a nosedive. This Morning presenters Holly Willoughby and Philip Schofield have seen their names plummet in popularity - Holly dropped out of the top 100 whilst Phil only has only had one registration this year.
Top Trending Stories Today Succession patriarch Logan leapt up six places to 48, while wayward son Roman flew nine spots to 47. And for names inspired by Bridgerton and the recent release of Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story, Charlotte soared up to 25, while Violet went up 19 places to 47, and Penelope was up 14 places to 60.
