Morgan Jones is beginning his arduous and life-threatening journey toward a reunion with Rick Grimes in some new fan art for The Walking Dead.

Morgan is setting off on a chance to reunite with Rick in new fan art for The Walking Dead. Morgan Jones is a key part of The Walking Dead and has quickly made himself just as prominent as the show's original protagonist, Rick Grimes . As a leading star in Fear the Walking Dead, he uses Rick's example to help him survive against humans and walkers alike.

With Morgan having officially left the spinoff in Fear the Walking Dead season 8, he's now on his way to Alexandria to reunite with Rick. It's a long-awaited reunion and one that could be coming quickly as future spinoffs of the franchise approach. Already, the idea of Morgan and Rick reunion has been receiving positive responses from The Walking Dead's community. Fan artist akithefull, for instance, released art of Morgan marching off to find his old friend with Mo at his side.

SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY SCROLL TO CONTINUE WITH CONTENT Will Morgan And Rick Reunite? The ending of Morgan's final Fear the Walking Dead episode has him heading on a journey to reunite with Rick, but that is a feat much easier said than done. Rick is no longer in Alexandria, and he isn't exactly set up for a reunion with old friends.

Of course, Morgan did end his time on Fear the Walking Dead by sending out a radio blast for Rick. It's a smart move, and it could be the perfect tool to bring the two back together. If Rick ever needs an ally in his upcoming series, he can just pick up a radio and reach out to Morgan. There may not even need to be much more than a hug and an about-face as they turn to strike at incoming walkers.
