Great turn out
Around 6,000 people flocked to a carnival featuring fairground rides, live music, live wrestling, a classic car display, a carnival procession and much more.
There were some fantastic businesses and charities in attendance which helped make the day one to remember providing lots of variety for visitors. A line up of acts and performances came to the stage including the excellent Accrington Pipe Band, dance and gymnastic groups, singers and bands such as Cadaver Beach and the amazing Musical Theatre Choir.For the first time the carnival featured a classic car display which was a massive attraction for car enthusiasts in the borough.
