The incident occurred in Madison County on May 3, according to authorities.
Published: Oct. 25, 2023, 4:49 p.m.Anthony Darryl Barber, Jr., 23, was arrested in Huntsville on Tuesday.
Barber’s arrest came after a three-count indictment issued back in July for robbery of a U.S. Postal carrier, unlawful possession of U.S. Postal Service keys, and brandishing a firearm during a violent crime. U.S. Attorney Prim F. Escalona and U.S. Postal Inspection Service Inspector-in-Charge Scott D. Fix, Houston Division, announced the arrest.
According to court documents, the robbery occurred in Madison County on May 3. Barber used a black Glock 27, Gen 5 .40 caliber semi-automatic pistol in the robbery.
