University of Houston commit Ariel Redmond returns off a sensational sophomore year. An outfielder, Redmon hit .491 with 11 extra-base hits and 15 stolen bases. “We have seven seniors this year who have all been playing varsity since their freshman or sophomore years,” Tinklepaugh said. “Most of them have been best friends since they were little girls and have grown up playing ball together. They have proven themselves leaders throughout this off-season and I am excited to see how that leadership keeps developing throughout the season.
