You ever hear the one about how power rankings are like elevators? We're almost to the halfway point of the MLB season and like elevators, every team has had its ups and downs. Full 'dad joke' analysis for each team:

I walked into the town library with our two toddlers Saturday morning and saw this bit of wordplay written on a whiteboard behind the reference desk:The timing of that little joke — accompanied by a drawing of a bat carrying a bat — made me laugh. I had just finished pulling together 10 pages of dad jokes for this week’s power rankings theme. That’s right. Thirty teams. Thirty dad jokes.
Brittany and Chandler are joining me on the power rankings this week and although they’re not dads, they are playing the parts of Faux Pas here. They were provided with a 10-page document titled “Dadabase” — full of dad jokes culled from forums across the internet — and instructed to tie the dad joke to the team somehow. Groan-worthy puns and segues were strongly encouraged. So let’s get to it.They both have their ups and downs.
