Word is the players union lowered their bonus pool ask to less than $100M. MLB was last at $25M. Seemingly a decent sized gap remains.”: “Union had a two and a half hour meeting with player reps this morning, then made a counter proposal on the big issues, per someone familiar with the negotiations.
