Daily News | MLB is monitoring Philly air quality issues ahead of tonight’s Phillies-Tigers game
Philadelphia is under a"code red" air quality alert, and officials suggest residents avoid going outdoors as much as possible.
Both the Phillies and the Tigers have a scheduled off day on Thursday, so if Wednesday’s matchup gets postponed, it would likely be rescheduled for Thursday. Thompson, a native Canadian, said the haze from the smoke didn’t impact the players, and he personally didn’t smell anything. But he did have reporters laughing following the game when he learned where the smoke was coming from.
