She had last been seen around 3:20 p.m. Sunday at the Royal Farms gas station on Concord Road in Springettsbury Township, police said.
Campbell was in the back seat of a silver 2005 Suzuki XL7 when Maria McKenzie, 27, stole the vehicle from the parking lot of the gas station, Springettsbury Township Police Chief Todd King said during a press conference Sunday evening. The Amber Alert was sent out after 5 p.m. The vehicle was found in Philadelphia around 6:30 p.m., police said, with Campbell inside it. That prompted officials to cancel the Amber Alert just before 7 o’clock. Officials are in the process of reuniting her with her family, police said.King said there is no known relationship between the family of the toddler and McKenzie, who got into the car after Mya’s mother left it.
