Authorities spotted the alligator in Middlesex Borough in the early morning hours on Wednesday. This was the first confirmed sighting since Saturday.
Authorities spotted the reptile early Wednesday morning near the small island in Lake Creighton, also known as the Duck Pond, in Middlesex Borough’s Victor Crowell Park, officials said.
“This is a very novel thing for New Jersey,” said Lt. Thomas Falk of the Middlesex Borough Police. “We don’t have alligators in the water. We’re not Florida.
