UPDATE: Missing Houston teen found driving car with woman's dead body inside after police chase in Nebraska
Michelle Roenz, 49, and Tyler Roenz, 17, were last seen at 11:40 a.m. Thursday on the 14700 block of Birch Arbor Court in Humble, Texas, according to officials.Police in Nebraska found the dead body of a woman in the trunk of a car driven by a Harris County teen reported missing with his mother, Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez said Friday.
The car crashed after a police chase near Aurora, Nebraska, and Tyler Roenz, 17, was taken to the hospital in"serious condition," Gonzalez wrote on Twitter. Tyler Roenz was reported missing along with his mother, Michelle Roenz, 49, on Thursday. The female body has not yet been identified. Michelle and Tyler Roenz had last been seen at 11:40 a.m. Thursday on the 14700 block of Birch Arbor Court in Humble, Texas, according to officials. The car officials said they might be driving, a black 2011 Mazda, was located in Nebraska and a chase ensued.
Update: the vehicle has been located in Nebraska. With assistance from Nebraska State Police, a pursuit took place and the driver crashed out. The male driver may have sustained injuries related to the crash, but the extent is unknown. The identity of the driver has not yet 1/2
