Miranda Kerr is paving the way for what organic skincare brands should embody with Kora Organics:

Labels like “clean,” “natural,” “non-toxic,” and “organic” have been popping up all over skincare products in the last few years. With the natural and organic skincare industry set to reachMiranda Kerr startedback in 2009 before it became trendy to be labeled as a clean skincare or beauty brand. Kerr was brought up in a family where wholesome, real and organic products were apart of their everyday lifestyle such as the use of noni which is now a key ingredient in all Kora Organics products.

Kora Organics was only available in Australia until 2017. Since then Kerr has expanded globally in over 25 countries. Her passion project turned her into a full-time entrepreneur with a mission to nourish people from the inside out. The concerning thing that Kerr has seen since the popularity of clean beauty is the lack of regulation around what is clean or organic. “The clean beauty movement is a step in the right direction, but it’s highly unregulated.

Brands now are claiming to be organic for including one organic ingredient while there are still pesticides, chemicals, and parabens in the rest of the formula. “Big brands are becoming more aware of incorporating healthier alternatives and avoiding the use of chemicals in their products, but often times have hidden additives that can be harmful. You obviously can't control things like radiation or pollution, but you can control what you are putting into your skin.

78% of people noticed their complexion looked brighter, more radiant, and more even toned; 88% noticed visible improvement in the appearance of natural radiance and skin clarity; 92% noticed visible improvement in smoother looking skin; and 78% felt their skin was stronger and firmer to the touch. Kerr hopes that organic skin care will become more regulated across the board and brands will become more transparent about their formulas. In the meantime, Kora Organics is paving the way on what an organic beauty brand should truly embody.
