Mikel Arteta spoke to the media following Arsenal's 1-0 victory over Manchester City at the Emirates, where a late strike from Gabriel Martinelli gave the gunners their first win against Manchester City in the league since 2015.
Martinelli grabbed the only goal of the game when his deflected shot beat Ederson in the 86th minute to settle a cagey match in north London.
Martinelli was not fit to start the match but was forced on at half-time with Leandro Trossard coming off injured.His resulting strike hit Nathan Ake in the head, changing the direction of the ball after Ederson had already moved to his left-hand side. But the importance of Sunday's result is a huge one for Arteta, who added: "It is a special one. It has been a long time since the club beat Manchester City."The players had incredible discipline, they won so many balls.
