A person familiar with the details confirmed to USA TODAY Sports that the White Sox were unaware of the allegations when they signed Clevinger to a one-year, $12 million deal last month. According to multiple reports, Clevinger will not be put on administrative leave as the White Sox open their spring camp on Wednesday in Glendale, Arizona.
