Michigan football players plant flag at midfield logo of Ohio Stadium after blowing out Ohio State

Michigan players took a team flag to the midfield logo at Ohio Stadium and planted it, just like Baker Mayfield and Oklahoma did in that stadium five years earlier after beating the Buckeyes.

The Wolverines defeated Ohio State for the second time in a row, which hasn’t happened since 1999-2000. Michigan took control of the game in the second half by outscoring Ohio State 28-3, punctuated by two long Donovan Edwards touchdowns in the final minutes. After the flag plant, Michigan’s offensive linemen took their own turn celebrating at the midfield logo.
