And the curls are getting just as much love, if not more, continually causing the best kind of commotion when she wears her tight spirals at high-profile events. The Obama Foundation Summit on Tuesday, October 29, was no exception as Obama not only kept up the curls but also debuted an updated hair color.
Appearing onstage at the Illinois Institute of Technology alongside other inspirational women like Ava DuVernay and Mavis Staples, Obama wore her natural curls in a shoulder-grazing style that paired perfectly with her dark gray, off-the-shoulder, houndstooth dress. The look was similar to the one she wore at Essence Fest in July, but with one major difference: She no longer has the blonde ombré, having dyed it back to a darker brown.
