Former first lady Michelle Obama will offer advice for first-year college students as part of an original YouTube series.and YouTube to create a 10-episode"crash course" for college students. Titled,"A Students' Guide to Your First Year of College," the learningNews of the collaborative effort came about a week after Obama hosted her annual Beating the Odds Summit at Howard University in Washington, D.C.

Years ago, Obama was one of those freshman students that found adjusting to college difficult at times. Former First Lady Michelle Obama attends 'Becoming: An Intimate Conversation with Michelle Obama' at State Farm Arena on May 11 in Atlanta. On Tuesday, a trailer was released for an upcoming YouTube series, which Obama helped produce, intended to help get students ready for their first year of college.This isn't the first time Obama has spoken out about feeling overwhelmed when she arrived at Princeton University.

Given that many students find themselves in the same boat floating on uncertain college waters, Obama said she was grateful for the opportunity to partner with YouTube Originals and"They're going to teach you everything from how to manage your time and money to the importance of finding a mentor and peers to help you along the way," Obama explained.
