The owners behind 3-Michelin-star Quince have their eyes set on North Beach for their latest project. Quince owners Michael and Lindsay Tusk plan to debut an espresso and gelato cafe at 596 Pacific Ave., as first reported by the. A representative at Quince confirmed the forthcoming cafe with SFGATE but could not provide additional details at this time.
Within walking distance of Quince and Cotogna, which is also owned by the Tusks, the new cafe will take up the former space of Chai Bar, which opened in 2020. Previously, the building was home to The Station SF.
