Bernstein runs the docs business of Brian Grazer and Ron Howard’s Imagine, while Weinstock is the Founder and President of Invention Studios, with past credits including Apple hitThe American execs will speak at a difficult time for the industry, with the dual Hollywood strikes impacting sectors around the world.
Others to be added include Folman, and Banijay’s James Townley, who is the super-indie’s Chief Content Officer Development and will keynote on the development and creation of unscripted IP and the acquisition of formats. Additional speakers will be announced in the coming weeks along with the full program. MIA has been running since 2015 and is directed by Gaia Tridente. This year’s confab will take place from October 9 to 13.
