Casa Dulce, a popular retail store for Mexican candy, has moved into a new and larger location on San Pedro Avenue.

Casa Dulce has moved to 6953 San Pedro Ave., where the retail shop has additional space dedicated to the wholesale side of the business.or a whole case of sour belts, Casa Dulce has you covered in its new location on San Pedro Avenue.

"We're thrilled to announce that Casa Dulce will be having a Soft opening of our NEW, bigger and improved Candy Store!" the store announced Sunday in a statement on its Facebook page."Get ready for a sugar-filled adventure like never before!" The popular retail store specializes in Mexican candy. While the business is open to the public, Casa Dulce also does robust wholesale trade with many fruterías, raspa stands and other purveyors of San Antonio's favorite snacks. The new shop, which is directly across San Pedro from its previous location, has more space dedicated to that wholesale side of its business.

The new Casa Dulce shop is in a soft opening phase, and fresh inventory is arriving on the floor daily as staff gets up to speed. In addition to hundreds if not thousands of types of candies packed onto shelves and stacked on pallets, Casa Dulce stocks Mexican pottery, piñatas, paletas, hot sauces, canned and bottled beverages and more.
