Heavy rain will affect some areas
Issuing a two-day weather warning, some areas across the region will be impacted by heavy rain. The yellow warning will come into effect from 12noon on Friday October 27, through to 6pm on Saturday evening, October 28.
"10 mm of rain is possible within an hour, with a few places seeing 30-40 mm in 6 hours where the most frequent showers occur.Tonight will be "rather cloudy with scattered showers, but some clear spells, before showery, occasionally heavy rain pushes in from the south later in the night with southeasterly winds freshening, Minimum temperature 7C."Showers or longer spells of rain, some heavy, are expect. It will become drier and brighter in west through the afternoon.
