The Met Office forecast shows a glorious day on Saturday , especially those heading to Blackpool for the Illuminations. Full sun spots are predicted for most of the day with the occasionally bit of cloud and highs of 21C.Sunday will be a cloudier affair but still dry and temperatures again reaching 21C. The fine weather is set to continue into next week with more sunshine on the way and mercury levels rising to highs of 24C.
The current Met Office forecast up to Thursday shows no rain on the horizon. The BBC Weather forecast no rain is expected until at least next Friday . Brighter skies will develop further south but with the chance of some slow moving heavy showers by the afternoon.
