Mercedes were “surprised” their rivals did not find the loophole that enabled them to come up with their radical sidepod concept for the 2022 F1 season
Speaking in a recent interview with, Mercedes technical director Mike Elliott was asked if the team were surprised there were the only ones to favour their sidepod concept.
