The co-founder of the legendary rap group De La Soul, Trugoy the Dove, has died, according to multiple reports.No cause of death was given for the Long Island MC, whose real name was David Jude Jolicoeur.
Per reports, Trugoy was absent from a performance at the Grammy Awards last week which featured his groupmate, Posdnuous. David Jude Jolicoeur Dave of De La Soul seen at Riot Fest & Carnival in Douglas Park on Sunday, Sept. 13, 2015 in Chicago. Jolicoeur teamed with Vincent Mason and Kelvin Mercer to form the group in 1988.
