Mel C didn't tell Robbie Williams she'd talk about their romance in new book
Melanie Chisholm, 48, most famously known as Mel C or Sporty Spice, has revealed that she didn’t feel the need to warn fellow singer Robbie Williams, 48, that she would open up about their romance in her autobiography.
However, she has revealed that prior to the book’s publication she didn’t warn the Angels singer that she would be further discussing the pair’s former romantic connection. “It really hurts at the time, but once you’re over it, you’re over it and you move on. Still, it was nice to put the truth out there,” continued the 48 year old.
“Our culture has changed so much and so many young people are hungry for fame. And I just want them to be prepared. It’s not plain sailing.”She said: “Any parents of teenagers will know exactly how much of a handful they can be. But she’s absolutely wonderful. She really is my best friend.”
