Good luck Peter!
Peter Irvine, 34, from Finaghy will star in the fourth series of the TV show which begins to air on Tuesday night, March 7, on BBC One.
Each week their spaces will be scrutinized by Head Judge Michelle Ogundehin alongside some of the industry’s biggest names, and at least one contestant will be eliminated each week. Their brief is to create sustainable design in an urban setting, as the designers are tasked with transforming five luxury apartments in London’s Elephant and Castle.
Speaking to Belfast Live, Peter said he'd applied for series three of the show - and was asked to apply again for series four.Speaking about how he felt when he found out he would be part of the series, Peter added: "I was like, 'Yes', I've done it' and then I was like, 'Oh my god, what have I just done?'"Imagine someone goes, 'Here's loads of money, go do what you love doing'.
"What I didn't expect was that it tapped into some emotions that I didn't think it would. The journey as a whole in terms of like easy, or hard, or fun, and sad, it was such a rounded experience for me. I have nothing but fond memories of every aspect of it.Peter explained the style of his own home here in Northern Ireland.
