Bradleigh Shepherd attacked 42-year-old Stephen Rimmer
A mechanic killed his stepdad after punching him following a family row. Bradleigh Shepherd hit 42-year-old Stephen Rimmer in the face after intervening in an argument.
It was said that the relationship between Mr Rimmer and Shepherd’s mother could be ‘volatile’. The pair had been drinking on August 15, 2019, when Shepherd returned to their home in Culvert Street, Rochdale. As he underwent treatment, he suffered a cardiac arrest and was placed in an induced coma. He died on March 7, 2020.
Speaking of the time after he went into hospital, she added: "Stephen was never the same again. He couldn't talk or walk. She said: "I know that her health was affected by Stephen's passing and the stress of the ongoing situation.” Defending, Nicholas Flanagan said Shepherd also 'mourns' the death of Mr Rimmer.
