In one of Eternals’ post-credits scenes, the famous singer made an unexpected cameo as Eros a.k.a. Starfox, a key character in Marvel Comics. Like his comic counterpart, the MCU’s take on Starfox is the brother of Thanos himself.
Although Eternals released in 2020, Styles has yet to reprise his role as the comic book hero. Plus, there remains no official plans to bring him back. However, Marvel’s decision to show him in the first place indicates he’ll be important sooner or later. Not only that, but various comments regarding the actor’s MCU role make it clear that Marvel didn’t cast Harry Styles as Starfox for the purpose of just one scene.
Starfox's Powers Make Him An Important Asset To The Avengers Starfox’s Marvel Comics history alone is a sign that he’ll be an Avenger, given that the character was a member of the main team for a significant portion of the 1980s. That, combined with the abilities he has at his disposal, gives him good odds of being on the Avengers roster during the Multiverse Saga.
The obvious, controversial aspects of such a power aside, it’s an ability with all sorts of potential when it comes to saving the world. Exactly how useful it can be was on display in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 though Mantis, who influenced people’s emotions to their advantage on numerous occasions.
The Avengers Will Need Starfox's Help To Beat Kang Starfox’s power level makes him an invaluable asset, and one they’ll surely need when they go up against Kang the Conqueror in Avengers: The Kang Dynasty and Avengers: Secret Wars. Considering that they’ll have untold number of Kangs to deal with via the Council of Kangs, the extra muscle they’d get from Starfox’s presence would greatly boost their chances of winning.
