The Northern Ireland winger picked up his first goal for his country but his little girl Daisy had other plans.
Conor McMenamin was gutted his daughter Daisy decided to pick pumpkins instead of watching her daddy score his first international goal.
He told Renfrewshire Live Sport: “It was good to score and it was a great day for my family. It’s something I’ll always remember and something no one can take away from me. “My mum and dad and my sisters were there. My wee girl actually went to a pumpkin patch instead. I was disappointed by that! I rang her after the game and was going mad at her.
McMenamin admits it’s been tough to settle in Paisley away from his beloved daughter, but revealed Saints boss Stephen Robinson has helped him get back home whenever possible to see her.
