Thirteen of Oak Ridge’s 31 points came in the fourth quarter after Cypress Springs pushed the lead to 40. The 64 points were the third-most the War Eagles have surrendered this season. Cypress Springs, meanwhile, improved to 30-8 and is in the regional quarterfinals for the second time in three seasons. The Panthers snapped the War Eagles’ 12-game win streak and pushed their own streak to six.
McDowell finished with a game-high 24 points to go with eight rebounds and three blocks. She made four of seven 3-pointers.
