Max Verstappen has had his say on the upgrades coming for Mercedes at the MonacoGP F1
Max Verstappen casts verdict on Mercedes running upgraded W14 in MonacoMax Verstappen supports the decision from Mercedes to roll out an upgraded W14 for this weekend’s race in Monte Carlo.
This is despite the particularly unique demands of the Monte Carlo circuit, which is as low-speed and tortuous as it is possible for a Grand Prix circuit to be, meaning the upgrades’ potential may not be as exploitable as at another track. But Mercedes’ approach has the approval of Max Verstappen, with the reigning World Champion saying it makes more sense to run the car in updated form regardless of the circuit characteristics.“Because you always learn always more than leaving it in the garage and not using it.”
