Downing-USA TODAY SportsFrancisco Lindor homered and drove in four runs, Max Scherzer tossed seven strong innings and the New York Mets beat the Colorado Rockies 5-2 on Friday in Denver.
Charlie Blackmon and Ryan McMahon homered, Alan Trejo had three hits and Jurickson Profar singled to extend his on-base streak to 33 games for Colorado. New York loaded the bases with one out in the third on a hit batter, a walk and an error, but Seabold struck out Pete Alonso and Baty to keep it a one-run game.
