Matt Lucas has 'no idea' what to think of Will Smith slapping Chris Rock
In an earlier tweet, he had addressed the shocking moment, writing: 'Anyone else need therapy after watching The Oscars? I'm not even joking.'
Weighing in: Little Britain star Matt, 48, took to Twitter on Monday and said he didn't know what to think as he has alopecia but has been a comedian who 'sometimes gets it wrong' In a joint statement the pair insisted it was 'wrong' to portray characters of other races, but reiterated it's something they have apologised for in the past.
At the Oscars on Sunday night, Will had stormed on to the stage and slapped presenter Chris with an open right hand for making a joke about his wife's haircut.
