Thursday that up to 250 National Guard members will be sent to assist with an influx of migrants straining the state's shelter system.There are more than 20,000 people comprising roughly 6,000 families in the system. Of those families, 700 live in hotels and motels, some of which are understaffed. National Guard members will be assigned to unstaffed hotels next week, and will help families coordinate food, transportation, and more.
