British Transport Police are hunting a gang of masked attackers who boarded a stationary train in the east end and assaulted a group of football fans on board.
The gang of around 15 people, all with their faces covered, boarded the service at Garrowhill around 7pm on Saturday, September 2. They attacked a group of football supporters, took some of their property, and created a disturbance.
They then exited the train before it left the station. Other passengers are believed to have witnessed the incident with police now urging anyone with mobile phone footage to get in touch with them.
