When it comes to claws, Logan's competition.

Wolverine is most famous for his trademark claws – sharp, skeletal daggers, coated in unbreakable adamantium. Logan’s signature weapons are capable of cutting through nearly any substance in existence, but it seems that Arakko’s newest Omega-level mutant has a power equally intimidating, equally lethal, and perhaps even stronger than Wolverine's claws.

SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY SCROLL TO CONTINUE WITH CONTENT Marvel’s Voices: X-Men #1 contains the “The Man With No Shame” short story by Al Ewing, Gustavo Vargas, and Manuel Puppo, which finds fan-favorite Arakki rogue Solemn confronting the newest member of the Great Ring, Kobak Never-Held, over the flaws surrounding the creed of Arakko, in an exchange that leaves readers wondering whether Kobak could be to Logan’s spot as the X-Men’s resident butcher.

That itself is impressive, but Kobak clearly brings more to the table than simple piercing damage. As revealed in X-Men Red #14 by – Al Ewing, Yildray Çinar, Federico Blee, and VC’s Ariana Maher – Kobak can fire his quills with enough force to level a building. Wolverine May Not Be Able To Hack It Against Kobak As far as bladed weapons go, Logan’s claws make him an unparalleled threat in close-quarters combat, but his six blades don’t do much for him in the way of ranged attacks. Kobak, on the other hand, wields thousands of similarly sharp appendages, which he can launch from his own body, presumably with the ability to regrow his spines at will.

“The Man With No Shame,” in Marvel’s Voices: X-Men #1, also refrains from answering the question about what the "spines that pierce all" would do to adamantium, as posed by Solemn. Considering that both are currently staunch allies of Arakko's leader Storm, mutantkind can be thankful that Wolverine and Kobak have no reason to face one another – Should the two come to blows, Logan may face a much more dangerous foe than he expects.
