Martin Lewis' MSE flagged how shoppers can pick up food bargains from 9p
Shoppers could make huge savings on groceries by picking up products that are past their best before dates.
The site is called Approved Food, and could save shoppers a good amount of cash on food that they will eat fairly soon after buying. It comes as some supermarkets begin to remove 'best before' dates on items in a bid to reduce the amount of food going to waste. Reena Sewraz, Which? Money Expert, recently said: "Pay attention to use-by and best before dates and take advantage of fresh foods that can be frozen to avoid wasting food."
