The Seattle Mariners have clinched a postseason appearance for the first time in 21 years, the longest playoff drought in North American professional sports.
The Mariners will be hosting watch parties for fans to watch the American League Wild Card Series games at T-Mobile Park on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, if necessary. The game will be broadcast on MarinersVision, one of the largest screens in the Pacific Northwest, and there will also be music and surprises for fans.
It’s the first time in club history that fans will be able to attend postseason watch parties at the ballpark. “We couldn’t be more excited for our fans to come together at T-Mobile Park to watch our push for a World Series title,” said Catie Griggs, president of business operations. “We want the team to be able to feel our fans’ support and electric energy all the way from Seattle.”Tickets are $10 for the general public and season ticket members will be emailed a code allowing them to get discounted tickets for $5. Parking at the Mariners Garage will be $10.
