Marin’s first baby of 2023 was born to Ukrainian parents at MarinHealth Medical Center in Greenbrae.

Attending nurse Cat Copeland said, “it was my honor and very exciting to help with the delivery of the first baby of the new year here at MarinHealth.” Babies were also born on New Year’s Day at 12:06 a.m. at Kaiser Permanente Walnut Creek Medical Center; 12:16 a.m. at El Camino Health – Los Gatos Hospital; 1 a.m. at Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital in Palo Alto, at 1:16 a.m. at Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital, 1:39 a.m. at Washington Hospital Healthcare System in Fremont and 3:44 a.m. at Santa Clara Valley Medical Center in San Jose.
