Marelle Sturrock: Everything we know so far about teacher's murder
The murder of Glasgow teacher Marelle Sturrock has sparked a major police operation.
A search is underway for Marelle's fiance, David Yates, who is wanted in connection with the incident. Police have revealed Marelle was 29 weeks pregnant at the time of her death and the unborn baby did not survive.Police confirm David Yates was last spotted near Mugdock Park around 8pm on Sunday evening.were called to a property on Jura Street around 8.40am on Tuesday morning following reports of concern for a woman.
The body of a 35-year-old woman was discovered inside the property, which police first described as 'unexplained'. A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We were made aware of concern for a woman at a property on Jura Street in Glasgow shortly after 8.40am on Tuesday, April 25.“Her death is being treated as unexplained and enquiries are ongoing.”Police
