Marc Jacobs just gave this Montauk hotspot a makeover
Oh yes: Jacobs just plastered the signature palette of his new Color Collection—pink, navy, and green—on, the perennially buzzy Montauk hotspot. There are umbrellas emblazoned with the Marc Jacobs logo dotting the beach—all complemented by navy and hunter green throw pillows, macrame string sculptures, and a swinging rainbow flag. In the lobby, two mannequins lounge on the Surf Lodge’s signature turquoise tables, wearing head to toe Marc Jacobs.
Of course there’s also a pop-up shop carrying an assortment of Marc Jacobs products: think tote bags and camera bags, Breton shirts, baseball caps, and casual shorts perfect to throw on for a day at the beach.Already, the Marc Jacob’s version of the Surf Lodge has attracted a stylish crowd—this weekend, Eye Swoon’sJacobs isn’t the only fashion brand taking over an East End outpost this summer. Just a few miles away,fashioned their own spin on Shelter Island’s Sunset Beach.
