and French-American R&B pop singer Lolo Zouaï are now global priority acts for Deezer NEXT. The new picks follow in the footsteps of Lewis Capaldi, who became Deezer NEXT’s global priority act back in January.
“I feel proud, happy and fortunate to be chosen as a Deezer NEXT global act and to be able to spread my music further every day,” says Turizo. “It's also an honor to be selected as the first Latin global act.” Manuel Turizo is part of a duo with his brother Julian, who plays the ukulele. They blew up with their song “Una Lady Como Tu,” giving Manuel and Julian Turizo the opportunity of collaborating with Nicky Jam, Prince Royce and Farruko, among others.
The Deezer NEXT Channel is filled with exclusive content, including live sessions and personal inspiration playlists. “Since we launched our first Deezer NEXT in 2018, it’s been very rewarding to see how far our hugely talented alumni artists have come," Nigel Harding, Deezer’s VP of artist marketing, says. ”We’re especially thrilled to welcome Manuel as our first Latin global priority artist.”
