The Mandel Jewish Community Center's 24th Annual Cleveland Jewish Book Festival will get under way Nov. 12 and carry on with events throughout November, as well as in January and March.BEACHWOOD, Ohio -- The month of November signals the start, for the 24th year, of the Mandel Jewish Community Center’s Cleveland Jewish Book Festival.
Mansbach will discuss his latest effort, ”The Golem of Brooklyn: A Novel,” at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 14 at the Mandel JCC, 26001 S. Woodland Road in Beachwood , while Albom, best known for “Tuesdays with Morrie,” will speak at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 16 about his latest, “The Little Liar.” ,” Rosenthal said. “We’re partnering with Siegal Lifelong Learning College of Case Western Reserve University to bring her here on Jan. 17.”Rosenthal said books and authors are selected from among those presented by the Jewish Book Council, the longest-running organization devoted exclusively to the support and celebration of Jewish literature.
In all, the Festival will include six virtual events, allowing book and author fans to participate no matter their location. Blauner can be seen at 7:30 p.m. March 5 at the Mandel JCC, and Oren will deliver the Festival’s keynote address at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 20 at the Mandel JCC.
